Life is a beach!

Today I took the day off and decided to dip my virtual toes in the white sandy beaches of Serendipitous Sands. The description of the place promised that besides being a rental location, that it offered a great place for photos. Not one to resist the beach or a bikini it was all the invitation I needed.

Something I have noticed in my travels is that there are sims that are put together with little effort and little expense, and then there is a photographers sim. A sim that is designed with the only care being fore the quality and beauty of the place they are creating. Though not very big, and with part of its land occupied with private homes, this sim definitely offers the above.

This sim is the perfect location for scenery shots with its beautiful textures and simply stunning decorating, as well as being an amazing place to use as a back drop as it offers numerous interactive objects.

Make sure to keep your eyes wide open while exploring the sim otherwise you can miss a million tiny little details that make this sim as beautiful as it is.

Perfectly kept to theme, you truly feel like you have landed on a tropical Island where life is completely perfect. Even though it took me no time at all to tour the public areas, I could have easily spent all day there just taking photos.

The windlightings are set beautifully but feel free to play with your own lighting to capture that perfect picture.

Visit alone for some peaceful time, visit to take photos, or simply to hang out with some friends. Either way, this sim is perfect for any occasion and has definitely made its way into my Must Keep list of Landmarks.

FASHION DO'S AND DON'TS OF SECOND LIFE

DO: Keep your outfit in theme, and if you are revealing a great deal of leg keep the upper portion of your body covered. This simple trick makes all the difference between cute and hoe.

Do: pare your cute silky summer jumpers with cute sandals and a smile, keep accessories light and summery

Don't/Do? : Tell me what you think here. Something about the heavy boots and the pink ribbon collar really throw this off for me, what do you think? I give props for the jumper and jewelry though, LOVE IT, just think this would be better suited with a pair of strappy heals.

Don't : You may want to thank this woman or curse her, i'm not sure. Either way she is what inspired My weekly Don't list. I was shopping for flf (Fiftey Linden Fridays) when she showed up on sim. Panties, tank, winter puff jacket and heels. Even though the AV herself was beautiful, nothing about her look was put together. She was simply a hot mess! Please Please Please Ladies, just don't!!!!!

Don't : Do I really need to comment here? The woman looks like a walking blow up doll and none of her matches. To each your own sweetheart, but even Malibu Barbie comes with matching shoes!

DO: This is my favorite do of the week. Soft, summery, simple and completely adorable. I would happily wear every inch of her outfit (in fact I own all the pieces)

Note:

I was really disappointed with Tee*fy this week! I recently found the store and fell in love with their clothing, so of course when I saw them again on there this week I was eager for what they had available. Sadly, it was the same thing they had last time. Come on Tee*Fy, we can't just leave the same thing out, give us something new and get us addicted.
